NELCWIT saves lives.
"Sally" called NELCWIT after her husband
threatened to kill her. After our advocates helped her through
the initial crisis, she continued to work with NELCWIT,
attending a support group and calling as needed.
Almost two years later, she says, "I feel like a new person.
After years of abuse and dependence, I am finding new
interests and I'm supporting myself for the first time ever. I'm
excited about the future and that feels great!"
