The Friends of NELCWIT raised over $28,000 for the 15th Annual Celebration of The Power to Persevere!

On Thursday, April 18th, 2024 from 5:00-8:00pm, The Friends, along with premier underwriter Greenfield Savings Bank, celebrated NELCWIT's many contributions to the community.

For the first time, we had an event at the Guiding Star Grange in Greenfield for an evening of contra dancing, delicious appetizers, cash bar beer and wine, and a short program honoring the work NELCWIT does in the community.

Music was by local band All Over the Map with Becky Hollingsworth, Steve Howland and Rebecca Weiss.

Resilience Rising: A Fundraiser for NELCWIT was a huge success!

We raised over $21,000!

NELCWIT was chosen by Ja’Duke Theater to be the beneficiary of a performance variety show. This benefit featured Ja’Duke performers, Friends of NELCWIT, Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and NELCWIT Staff.

These shows brought community members across Franklin County to the theater to celebrate the resilience of survivors and the life of Vivian A. Morrissey.

Ja’Duke donated all ticket and concession sales to NELCWIT, and all sponsor funds were given directly to our organization.

A Big Thank You to our Sponsors!

In all of the work we do, we rely on people like you. Thank you for your support!

Almost twenty-seven years ago, NELCWIT was a lifesaver for me and my three kids, and none of us have forgotten. I'm just sharing this with you to let you know what a huge impact the courageous and dedicated women of NELCWIT, and the vital, top-notch services they provide, have had across time. I can't, and wouldn't want to, imagine my life without your grace and wisdom.
